I have always thought that on New Years Eve you should look extra glamorous to ring in the New Year. The best choices for that evening are dresses, even skirts and if you don't feel like wearing either you can wear pants or leggings. I do suggest wearing something with glitter or sparkles, to look the the ball. If you don't have anything like that wear silver or fun colors.
